DESCRIPTION:Dizzy Lizzy are a fantastic tribute act dedicated to the legendary Phil Lynott and Thin Lizzy. Established in 1994\, their sound and set-list faithfully recreate that trademark Lizzy sound. Philomena Lynott once stated that Dizzy Lizzy are “the closest to playing my son’s music.” They are the only act to have headlined both the ‘Vibe for Philo’ in Dublin & ‘Remember Phil & Gary’ event in Holland. They have also performed and toured with original Thin Lizzy guitarist Eric Bell whose reaction on first seeing the band was telling. “I could only watch three numbers owing to the emotions. DESCRIPTION:Have you ever noticed how deeply a sound\, a word or even your own thoughts can influence how you feel? \nWe are constantly surrounded by sound and vibration — and within the yoga tradition\, sound has long been recognised as a powerful way of working with our awareness\, breath and state of mind. \nIn this special workshop\, you will explore the ancient practice of mantra and discover how working with sound and repetition can help us cultivate: \n🌿 Peace & inner harmony\n✨ Positive mental states\n🧘‍♀️ Focus & presence\n💫 A greater sense of wellbeing\n🌸 A deeper connection with ourselves \nYou will explore traditional sounds and mantras from the yoga tradition\, learning about their meaning and purpose before experiencing them through chanting\, repetition\, breath and meditation. \nThis will be an opportunity to step away from the busyness of everyday life\, become more aware of your own voice and vibration\, and explore how sound can influence your experience from the inside out. \nYou don’t need any previous experience with chanting or mantra — simply come with an open mind and a willingness to explore. \nCome and discover the power of your own voice and vibration\, and learn simple practices that you can take with you into everyday life. \nThe workshop will be led by Emma Brown. who has been teaching yoga\, meditation and philosophy for more than 33 years. Her main lineage is within the Sivananda Yoga tradition\, while her teaching has also been influenced by teachers including Thich Nhat Hanh\, Osho and many others.
