Lights switch on 4.30pm
Come and cheer Santa as he travels on his Rotary sleigh along the High Street, up Albany Road, Belmont Parade, Park Road and back, all the while the lights will be switched on as he goes.
We would love the community to line the streets, wave and cheer him along. Choose your favourite spot, anywhere on Santa's planned route.
Thank you to the Rotary Club of Chislehurst for providing Santa with his sleigh, they will also be collecting for local charities.
Christmas lights sponsors
A big thank you to the 138 organisations in the Chislehurst Business Group for once again funding our Christmas lights. It costs about £7- 8,000 every year and we think the Christmas lights make our town really festive.
If you have a shop or business in the High Street or Belmont Parade, and would like to sponsor our lights, please get in touch.
Why not make a full day of it in Chislehurst by visiting the Red Hill Christmas Fair from midday. More details here.
And between 4pm and 6pm, Chislehurst Methodist Church's Messy Church is hosting "Christmas Fun!" for children - making Christmas crafts and decorations. Afterwards they will hear the Christmas Story and finish with a family tea. More info here.
With thanks to Vincent Oliver and Nick King for taking these fabulous photographs.
