Hello and welcome to the Neurodivergent Village, a support for neurodivergent families and their loved ones. We offer the following services, all of which are neurodivergent-led and affirming:
Cothù – a 5-week support group for parents of autistic children where we look at embracing your child and their needs and how to help them – and you – thrive. This 5-week programme will help you understand your child from an autistic perspective, deepen your connection and improve the whole family’s wellbeing. Expect understanding, compassion and support. Groups are run regularly throughout the year both in-person and online.
Get Konnected – small group and individual sessions for autistic children and young people.
A supportive space to explore what makes you uniquely you. Get Konnected celebrates neurodivergence and supports autistic young people to connect, communicate and understand themselves in a way that feels right for them. Sessions are grounded in safety, dignity, connection and a deep understanding of sensory and emotional needs.
Here Together – this is a bespoke and structured way of working with schools to bring neurodivergent-affirming, autistic-led practice into the school in a way that feels practical, guided and possible. This is not another surface-level autism course; it is a school capacity programme for people who want to support real change around safety, inclusion, co-regulation, autistic student voice and everyday classroom life.
Counselling – offered by a qualified counsellor with lived experience and many years of experience supporting autistic children, young people and their families, as well as autistic adults.
You are at the heart of our work together. I want you to feel heard, respected and understood, and I will work with you to understand your individual needs and how best to support you.
This begins before our sessions even start. I will work with you to explore any adjustments that may help you feel comfortable and safe, including sensory needs such as lighting, seating and your physical environment. I can also provide videos of the counselling room and directions for finding it, helping you know what to expect and easing any anxiety about attending for the first time.
Your needs matter, and we will work together to make our sessions as accessible, comfortable and supportive as possible.
