Visit Chislehurst is delighted to be collaborating with The Chislehurst Society, The Chislehurst Rotary Club and The Chislehurst Golf Club to provide a number of Environmental Bursaries for deserving recipients, towards a course or apprenticeship in environmental work.  Chislehurst has a very strong network of volunteer groups that runs many events throughout the year.  With the forthcoming coronation of King Charles, the volunteer groups looked to see what events could take place and how money could be invested in the community.

The calendar for the year was already fairly full, with new events already added for 2023.  The Committee looked at previous projects that King Charles had a keen passion for ie, Environment, The Princes Trust – investment in people – and it was felt that investing in specific individuals and also making an impact on the environment would be a wise investment and something that would leave a legacy.

The Chislehurst Coronation Bursary will invest in an educational program or apprenticeship in environmental work.  The individuals will have to complete the work or apprenticeship and also complete 50 hours of community work in Chislehurst.

Applications are now open – HERE.  If you would like to apply, please review the criteria and check the terms and conditions beforehand.
