We are delighted to announce that another new defibrillator has been installed, this time at Chislehurst Library! This is the result of a fundraising initiative by Visit Chislehurst in which money was raised to fund 3 of these life saving machines. A defibrillator is a device that can save a life, by giving a high energy electric shock to the heart of someone who is in cardiac arrest. The high energy shock is call defibrillation, and it is an essential part in trying to save the life of someone who is in cardiac arrest. Whilst waiting for the emergency services to arrive this life saving equipment is vital and is a tremendous asset to our business High Street.
We will shortly be releasing a map of the location all the defribrillators in the area.
